Life gets away from me quickly. Blink and I am in a new year! So I don’t want to beat around the bush today. I have some new great scents in store for your fabulous collection of One Blessed Acre Lotions and Soaps – is that really a thing? Do people collect our different scents? Well, this girl hopes so!
Everyone deserves to be transported to a tropical island during the winter months and that’s exactly what this scent does. Coconut Island is a tropical coconut, mango and lemongrass mix which will brighten any dreary winter morning. Who doesn’t need a pick me up in the shower? I know I really need a kick in the butt first thing in the morning. Those snug, warm sheets just don’t want to let me go every morning, but this new scent will enlighten my senses.
So, I posted on Instagram a few weeks back and I think I was bombarded with an overwhelming request for cucumber – so girls- here you go. Sassy and sweet – Cucumber Melon is sure to please. I love the way it smells just like a cucumber, but with slight undertones of cantaloupe melon. MMMMMM, YUM!
The last scent is for all of us here in Northern California. . . that is 6 hours north of San Francisco. Wait, you say, isn’t that Oregon??? No, it’s still California – it’s a really big state! We get so much rainfall here during the winter months – I should be able to tell you precisely how much, but I can’t so I’m just going to exaggerate and say millions of gallons of water is dumped on us from December until April. In fact, our back field looks like a mud wrestling rink, to which my goats are not very pleased. I tend to get a little side tracked. . . the scent is Coastal Rain. I love this scent and the blue green color that I made the soap. It’s ocean breeze, white current and lemon zest with a little amber and musk undertones. It’s such a light scent, it should be very versatile for both men or women.
