“Thanksgiving,” brings up thoughts of appreciation, favor or something good received. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines “Thanksgiving” as, “Rendering thanks for good received or the act of rendering thanks or expressing gratitude for favors or mercies.” Scripture mentions “thanksgiving” in I Timothy 4:3, Every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if received with thanksgiving. Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name.
Once again during this holiday season, I am so thankful for the tender mercies the Lord bestows on our family, our farm, and our community. I haven’t added to my 1000 Gifts list, so here goes:
